YAYASAN SURIA JB’s POST CMCO WEEKLY REPORT(6/7/2020 – 12/7/2020).

A very good morning, a wet one here from Seri Alam, Masai, Johor.
There are many people out there who have lost their jobs, still haven’t found one, *still struggling to find food on the table.* And without a job, paying for their rental is not possible, *a few months in arrears and threatened by the landlord with eviction.*
*6/7/2020.*
– Distributing *70 packets of cooked food from FGC JJ* to needy families, sending 2 packets(for lunch and dinner) all the way 18 km away to my adopted father, home-alone 81-year-old man in Century Garden, others to 4 poor families in Megah Ria, Seri Alam and Plentong.
– got a surprise *RM100 contribution* from an intern Yayasan Suria JB is supporting with RM2,400.00 a year, she is earning some allowances now and decided to do her small bit by donating to us to help the Poor & Needy, *what generosity and gratefulness!*
– donated *RM1, 500.00 to Rumah Jannah Perlis,* an orphanage for poor Muslims.
– paid *RM3, 200.00 for 2 tilt tables* for physiotherapy, 1 for our paralysed girl, Har Li Jun in Kg Melayu Majidee and 1 for HSAJB(Hospital Sultanah Aminah JB).
– gave away *masks, milk powder from Promac, sardines* to Ihsan Johor and TARA Foundation.
*7/7/2020.*
– Another *80 packets cooked food from FGC JJ* to different groups of people, including 2 packets to my adopted father.
– paid *RM800. 00 as house rental* to a family in Megah Ria Masai, 4 months in arrears, to prevent eviction, also at the same time bought food provisions for the mother with 4 children.
– paid *R1, 300.00 to a family in Megah Ria for dialysis* expenses.
– Paid *RM200. 00 to paralysed Ringo* to fit a tracheostomy tube, he is being supported by YSJB with *15 tins of Ensure milk monthly for the past 7 years, RM1, 300.00 monthly just on milk alone* and RM150 a month on our monthly financial aid.

– Another *85 packets of cooked food from FGC JJ* for distribution.
– *Chitra, the Lymphedema lady with a big left swollen leg,* operated some time ago at UMMC(Universiti Malaya Medical Centre) PJ is making good progress, *daily dressing, costs us RM330,* YSJB is funding her operation and post-operation expense, please continue to pray for the speedy recovery.
– regarding tax exemption receipts from Yayasan Suria JB, we have *issued some 1,150 tax exemption one since 1/1/2020,* we got tax exemption from LHDN for 5 years effective from 1/12020 – 31/12/2024.
As promised, we delivered and those yet to receive theirs, please be patient, *we are writing each receipt deligently according to our bank statements(so far done until 20/3/2020) so that you shall be entitled for income tax relief,* its a lot of back-dating the receipts with our new tax-excemption ones but we shall do it for your benefit, your patience and understanding are most appreciated, thanks.

– bought *RM265.00 dry food provisions* for another family in Megah Ria, Masai.

– Another *70 packets of cooked food from FGC JJ* for distribution.
– paid another *RM1,000.00 to a single mother in Tun Aminah,* RM530.00 for her rental and the balance for household expenses, single mum with 2 kids, 14 and 16 years of age, out of job since Apr 2020, this was the lady who got evicted before, we went in to help, still trying to get her a job.

– 75 packets of cooked food from FGC JJ.
– met up with an *expatriate from Finland 🇫🇮,* both his wife and him are our strong supporters, they have been in Malaysia for 15 years, we thanked them for their generosity in helping the Poor & Needy, thank you, thank you. God bless.

– went all the way to Impiana Condo, Nusajaya to meet an anonymous lady who *gave us RM2,300.00 cash,* RM1, 700.00 for buying food for the needy and the balance RM1,600.00 as donation to YSJB, thank you!

– meet a supporter of YSJB who is involved in running a *Moral Uplifting Society in Johor Jaya, she wanted to know how to apply for Income tax exemption.*

– distribution of *350 packets of food* from Raveendran restaurant, Kulai, RM1, 700.00 of money collected from anonymous lady on Sat, 11/7 as follows:
50 – Phillipinos Community
50 – Chinese
100 – Puteri flats Kulai
50 – Cikgu Suguna for poor students
50 – Cempaka flats Kulai
50 – Orang Asli

– collected *donation box from Roy, RM520.00,* thanks Bro, God bless.
– went to *NSK Pandan to purchase groceries(RM165. 00) for a family in Tasek 64 Seri Alam,* father is a odd-job worker, jobless since April 2020, 6 children ranging from 9 years old to 9 months old, will be delivering today, 13/7 together with *milk powder from Promac, some sardines and Maggi mee from our store.*
As you can see, *$ comes in, money goes out, that’s Yayasan Suria JB!* Ha ha.
Got to rush off now to collect cooked food from FGC JJ.
