YSJB’S weekly report post-CMCO(15/6/2020 – 21/6/2020).

*15/6/2020.*
– 300 packets of cooked food from Ponderosa Golf Club ⛳, 80 packets from Fig Cafe Molek & 50 packets from FGC JJ, *total of 430 packets,* all to the Poor who still need our help.
– to New York Hotel to pick up preloved clothings, soft toys, shoes, etc.
– visited a woman in Bakar Batu with 6 children, husband in jail, helped pay *RM262 for her electricity bill* since Jan 2020, she has pawned her jewerely, this family needs help and we are looking into this.
*16/6/2020*
– cooked food from Ponderosa, Fig & FGC JJ, *total 430 packets.*
– Helped a woman in Tun Aminah to pay for a *month’s rental RM450,* she was on 2 months rental arrears and landlord wanted to evict her, settled.
– visited Villa Paulos & Berkat Homes to give away face masks/sanitizers with *Rotary Club of Straits View Johor.*
– brought *53 packets of milk donated by Promac* for SJK(C) Pandan.
– received a message from *Thanusha Restaurant,* Jalan Segget that they are giving us *50 packets of cooked food for 10 days*(18/6/2020 – 27/6/2020), thank you, thank you!
*17/6/2020*
– cooked food from Ponderosa, Fig & FGC JJ, *total 430 packets.*
– helped a woman in Tun Aminah to pay for her *rental RM650.*
– another woman in Desa Harmoni to pay for *2 months rental of RM1, 300* – she was 6 months in arrears after husband absconded leaving her with 3 children, now 7 months pregnant 🤰.
– visited family in Bakawali 27 Johor Jaya, in need of groceries, etc.
– paid RM5,000 to a 18-year-old girl with leukemia to start off her cancer treatment, will write more later on separately.
– bought cooked food for 4 Needy families in Bayan 35 Megah Ria, Masai.

– cooked food from Ponderosa, Fig FGC JJ & Thanusha restaurant Jalan Segget(50 packets), *total 480 packets.*
– brought 50 packets of cooked food to the Poor in Megah Ria.
– Quick run to Promac Pasir-Gudang to collect milk.
– dash to YSJB’s accounts office(SE Lai Associates, Taman Majidee, JB) to handover documents.

– cooked food from Ponderosa, Fig FGC JJ & Thanusha restaurant Jalan Segget(50 packets), *total 480 packets.*
– daily 7 packets of cooked food for Aunty in Bakawali 27.
– goodies bags of dry groceries for 2 families in Plentong and Bakar Batu respectively.
*20/6/2020*
– cooked food from Ponderosa, Fig & Thanusha restaurant Jalan Segget(50 packets), *total 430 packets.* FGC JJ is off Sat/Sun.
– daily 7 packets of cooked food for Aunty in Bakawali 27.
– Quick run with *160 packets of cooked food for fisherman in Tg Kupang,* some 50 mins away, ended up in 4 hours due to flash floods in Gelang Patah areas, finally delivered.
*21/6/2020*
– cooked food from Ponderosa, Fig & Thanusha restaurant Jalan Segget(50 packets), *total 430 packets.* FGC JJ is off Sat/Sun.
– Father’s day, *happy Father’s day to all out there,* my best Father’s day, pick up a complete stranger, a 81-year-old man in Taman Abad, son in S’pore, couldn’t come in due to lockdown, took him to HSAJB, went through all procedures with doctor, *all over in 3.5 hours,* took him home, I now got a adopted father since my dad left me in 1995, *thanks Uncle ‘N’ for giving me a chance to take care of you, especially on Father’s day, my best Father’s day present!*
The effects of the MCO and *the damage done by COVID-19 is irreparable,* many will never recover from this pandemic, it’s our duty to help those still suffering out there, can all of us take up the challenge and help out in whatever ways possible?
