Before anything else… let me set the mood with this classic oldie:
🎵 “Just Walking in the Rain” – Johnnie Ray:
I was on my usual bread rescue mission for the poor and needy(under TLFP, The Lost Food Project) —
Waze said ETA 11:33 am. Right on schedule.
BUT… just 3 minutes before I reached Kenjo Bakery —
🌧 BOOM — the skies opened. Heavy downpour. No mercy. No warning.
I looked around. No parking near the shop.
The closest spot? 10 cars away.
2 empty boxes in the backseat. No umbrella.
No free hands. No shelter.
I glanced up…
💬 “God, please help.”
Got out of the Hilux. Grabbed the boxes.
And walked…
In the rain.
In the POURING rain.
Uncovered. Unprotected.
But here’s where it gets wild.
The moment I stepped into the shop’s 5-foot walkway,
the staff looked at me in shock —
“HOW come you’re not wet Uncle?? You didn’t even have an umbrella!” 🤯
I looked at myself… and then froze.
Not. A. Drop.
Bone dry.
Hair, shirt, pants — all dry as though I just walked out of an air-conditioned room.
And that’s when I knew… 😳
It wasn’t luck.
It was a miracle. 🙌
As I loaded the buns, bread, and cakes after about 5 minutes inside…
the rain had turned into a drizzle — just in time.
2 trips. One box at a time. Still dry. Still safe.
This was no coincidence.
I’ve seen many miracles as a volunteer.
But this one?
This was next level.
God literally covered me from the rain —
no roof, no umbrella, just His unseen hands. ☁☁
When you do HIS work, He takes care of you.
We are just His humble servants…
✨ Instruments of love and service for humanity.
