In May 2025, a man from KL called me and said he would be dropping by our office in Johor Jaya. He was following his son to JB — the grandchildren were excited to visit Legoland. 🏰👨👩👧👦
I said, Sure, come by! We welcome all visitors and I’m always proud to share what we do at our Foundation. 💬
And yes, he came with his wife, son, daughter-in-law and two adorable grandchildren. We spent about 30 minutes chatting — everything under the sun and moon ☀🌙 — and I gave them a quick briefing about the work we do.
He then shared that he too is a heart patient, just like our Bro Lee Wai Shiang. He gave me some insights on living with a heart condition — it was eye-opening. 🫀
When it was time to say goodbye, I walked them to their car — a silver Toyota Innova.
Then out of the blue, he asked, “Would you like to have this vehicle, FOC?”
I quickly said, “Not for Uncle James, but if it’s for the Foundation, then yes.”
And he agreed! 🙌 He said once his son returns to the U.S., arrangements will be made for us to collect the vehicle in KL.
So, we timed our trip to KL to coincide with our visit to IJN to see Bro LWS (who was in the normal ward then after being discharged from ICU).
This kind-hearted soul wishes to stay anonymous — he believes that true giving is done quietly, without the need for fanfare. 🌸🤫
