Since the launch of our NASI Project some 16 months ago, a heart-led collaboration between Yayasan Suria JB Care (YSJBC), Ihsan Johor, and Union Harvest (M) Sdn Bhd (a proud subsidiary of Sumitomo Corporation Japan), something truly beautiful and powerful is unfolding. 🫶🌍
In June 2025, single mothers – brave women struggling to make ends meet – were given the chance to earn an honest income by cooking from the safety of their own homes. No need to leave their young children behind. No need to choose between survival and motherhood. ❤👩🍳👶
👉 They’re paid RM1.50 per packet and guess what? A whopping 715 food packets were prepared with pure love and delivered to Fitrah Qaseh Home and SK Seri Perling 2. 💪🍲
But here’s where it gets even more amazing… 💥
📚 Children from poor families who used to skip school now show up every day — because there’s warm, delicious food waiting for them. Their attendance has improved, their grades are rising, and their smiles say it all. This is no longer just about food… it’s about hope, dignity, and dreams reignited. 🌈🥹
