Donation boxes.

Donation boxes.

Yayasan Suria JB (YSJB) – Donation boxes.
We have been placing our donation boxes all over JB for the past few years, 25 boxes in and around JB. But with the drop in income of some 50% and the rising cost of living, we are forced to expand our outreach of placement of donation boxes to more places.
To increase our income, we appeal to you to help place our donation boxes in shops/restaurants/clinics/hospitals/cafes, etc.

Location is not an issue as we can send our donation boxes to you by courier if you are outside JB. For those in JB, just give me a call and I shall deliver.

Lately, we are receiving more calls for help, they are pleading and crying as they can buy so little now with the high cost of living – most goods and food have risen by some 35% and our clients (the Poor & Needy) are really suffering. We want to help them but our funds are limited due to poor donations from the public.

One way is to put out more donation boxes in the market and this is where all of you can help out.
I got a few friends who put the donation boxes in their houses and each time they get visitors, they will encourage their friends to chip in. Another friend put the boxes in his house and encouraged their own children to put into the boxes, teaching them from small how to be charitable and have a caring heart for the Needy.

There are 2 supporters who put the donation boxes in their offices and encouraged their staff members to donate, thus cultivating a habit of generosity among his staffs.

Also another book shop owner allowed us to put our donation boxes in 6 of his outlets in Johor (Masai, Pasir Gudang, Setia Tropika, Gelang Patah, Perling Mall & Bandar Penawar). The money for each individual outlets are then tallied and the money banked in. Thank you Bro Ben Gan for going out of your way just to help us so that we, in turn, can continue to help our clients (the Poor & Needy) with L❤️ve & Humility!
There are many ways to ‘play’ with the donation boxes. If one has the desire and willingness to help, one will find many ‘creative’ ways to do so. All you need is to request from us and we leave it to your imaginations how to generate the funds to keep us going – we do what we know best, helping our sisters and brothers who are really struggling to survive!
Also with our new DUITNOW QR code, you too can laminate our YSJB’s DuitNow, stick some double-sided tape and ask permission from outlets to stick on the walls so that people can see and donate.
There are many ways to increase our income and help the ever increasing numbers of people crying for help. Now, our clients not only call but they cry for help. They are desperate! Perhaps, you can give us some ideas on how to increase our coffers.
Depending on location, willingness of the person manning the outlet and the traffic of people patronizing, we get collections ranging from, as little as RM15 to RM500 a month. No amount collected is too small for us. Whatever amount we can collect, we are thankful to God.
We welcome your ideas, we are desperate too and we seek your help to be our partners in helping the Poor & Needy.
