Yayasan Suria JB(YSJB) – Preparing 200 packets eastern/western food daily from 1/5 – 26/5/2021, total of 5,000 packets.
All to be given to the Homeless, Homes(Old Folks/Children), the Poor & Needy and the Marginalised.
Due to the impact of the Covid-19 pandemic, there is an ever-growing need for cooked food in addition to dry food provisions for the above groups mentioned.
The logistics involved in sourcing for the raw ingredients, preparation, cooking, packing, distribution, etc are mind blogging and I am fortunate to be given this unique experience to be involved in the churning-out of 5,000 packets of cooked food.
Canvassing for money is equally challenging and we hope to exceed the 5,000 mark, depending on the inflow of funds.
