Yayasan Suria JB (YSJB) – 8 kids left to fend for themselves!
Just at about 6.30 pm today(15/2/2023), I received this SHOCKING news from one of our clients as I was delivering to her the food bank.
Message to my volunteer group which is self-explainatory:
“Food bank for Nur/Rasul of Tasek 64, Seri Alam, Masai.
Was told by Nur(arrowed, holding the food bank), her neighbor now abandoned their 8 kids, eldest 15, father arrested by Police, mother just absconded this morning(15/2/2023).
Now left the 8 kids without water/electricity.
Part of the food bank today will be cooked by Nur to be given to the 8 kids.
Tomorrow, will send more food bank(eggs, chickens, etc) plus lots of Promex milk.
How ah?”
As I have to run another 2 food banks, Nur assured me she will go over and look after the kids and as I was leaving, I could see the house in total darkness with the smaller kids crying away.
My message to Nur as I was on my way delivering the other 2 food banks:
“Besok pagi Uncle datang bagi susu, telor, beras, dll”
“Ok baik uncle.
Terima kasih.
Kalau ada pempers .. pempers uncle budak 2 tahun”.
Such are some of the cases we come across dally but this case requires our URGENT, QUICK & IMMEDIATE ACTION!
Just received a call from Nur that electricity is being supplied by the neighbor and the kids have their food to eat.
I shall be dropping by to check, if time permits, as I am still on the road as I write this.
